After supercooling, water turns instantly into ice when poured into a metal water bottle.
Footage filmed on July 21 shows water, which was supercooled overnight, turning into ice as it is being poured into a bottle.
One Reddit user explained the process: "Water won't freeze without a nucleation point to start the crystal formation.
"So you take pure water in a clean container, cool it to below 0 degrees Celsius and then agitate it in some way.
"Shaking it is a common way to do it as you get to see the water quickly turns from a liquid to a solid."
