The best burgers in NJ are served at this roadside stand

In just 10 years, Steve's Burgers has cemented itself as one of New Jersey's most beloved burger hideaways. The roadside restaurant, right off Route 46 in Garfield, started as a local's hub, but has since become a destination for fans across the state. Of the 2,000 burgers he sells a week, owner Stephen Chrisomalis says the best seller is Steve's Burger, made with a 6-ounce ground chuck patty, American cheese, onion rings, and Steve's secret sauce. Other deliciously greasy favorites include fresh-cut fries, fried twice for extra crispiness, and the Patty Melt, served on buttered rye bread with American cheese and fried onions.
