This was the moment a high-speed truck hit a parked SUV, which then narrowly missed a cyclist, who managed to dodge any potential collision.
The incident occurred in Sultanpur, northern India, on June 24.
Local police said an SUV, which was travelling to the nearby Barui village, had a flat tyre. The driver had pulled into the roadside to get the puncture fixed when he was hit by a truck.
CCTV footage from a nearby shop captured the accident and the cyclist’s miraculous escape.
Eyewitnesses said three passengers of the SUV exited the vehicle, also unhurt. The driver of the SUV escaped with just minor injuries, although the vehicle was damaged.
A local police officer Devendra Singh said: “We are looking for the negligent truck driver who escaped.”
