The number of new COVID-19 cases globally hit almost 190-thousand on Sunday alone, according to data from the World Health Organization.
This came on the same day that confirmed cases worldwide exceeded 10 million.
The global death toll has also topped half-a-million.
The U.S. has taken the hardest-hit with total diagnosed cases surpassing 2-point-5 million and deaths now more than one-hundred-25-thousand.
