"EU, 입국 허용국 명단 합의 접근…한국 등 15개국 포함"
Countries in the EU have been banning all non-essential travel from countries outside the bloc since mid-May.
But European Union diplomats have agreed on a provisional list of countries whose citizens will be allowed to enter the EU starting July 1st.
There are 15 countries on the list, including South Korea, Canada, Japan and Australia, but excluding the U.S. and Russia.
The list still needs to be approved by the governments of the EU member states.
As the list was being drafted, EU officials said the criteria would include how well countries have managed the virus, and whether the country has banned travelers from EU countries.
