Face Mask Tips
for the Hot Summer Months Covering your face with cloth can become
uncomfortable once hot weather sets in. Fortunately, there are tactics you can take
to protect yourself from COVID-19
and not feel discomfort. Health experts tell 'The Philadelphia Inquirer' you should use material that is 100 percent cotton fabric. Heat can be closed off by fabrics such as polyester,
leading to sweat building up faster on one's face. Closed off heat and sweat can irritate your skin,
so be sure to use moisturizer on affected spots. Instead of elastic straps, use masks
with ties that allow you to adjust it. Straps can also cause
discomfort for your ears. You can also carry around
multiple masks when you go outside for a long time. When your first mask becomes damp from
face sweat, you'll have another one as a backup.
