This was the devastating scene left when a truck carrying 30 motorcycles flipped over after a collision in Surin, northeastern Thailand.
Truck driver Sanguan Khengnok, 56, said he was driving towards a junction when a car ran the red light from his left side.
His delivery vehicle was hit in the middle and flipped because of the impact, damaging the brand-new motorcycles.
Sanguan said he tried to speed up to avoid the car with the possibly dozing off driver but he was not successful.
The driver added: "If I had not turned right to evade the crash, the pick-up truck would have hit the cabin instead of the middle of the truck and I would have been very badly injured.
"I think the pick-up truck driver might have fallen asleep because he was running the red light and did not respond to the horn I had signalled to him."
Sanguan miraculously survived without a scratch and contacted the police to provide assistance to them.
The car driver, Sanan Sampim, 60, was not as lucky as he was rushed to the hospital to receive treatment for his injuries.
The police later arrived to investigate the scene and collect evidence.
Police Major General Tawai Buranarak said: "We collected the evidence and will watch the CCTV before we question the other driver who is now under treatment at the hospital."
