Revolting footage shows a bootlace worm squirming on a woman's hand in Bangkok, central Thailand on May 28.
Fisherman Poomsub Rattanaprapapan found the long worm near the shore while he was catching some fish.
He said: "I took it home and placed it in a tub to observe this fascinating animal."
Bootlace worms are one of the longest known animals with a highly toxic mucus.
