You will get many Dahi Paneer recipes in YouTube. But this recipe is unique in its own way.
This was the first paneer recipe which I learnt from my elder sister when I started cooking.
Dahi Paneer, a delicious North Indian gravy where paneer is cooked in creamy yogurt gravy. Serve it with tawa roti, nan, kulcha, puri, steamed rice or jeera rice.

Dahi Paneer is a delectable gravy where Paneer is cooked along with a rich curd/ yogurt gravy. It is easy to make and is a perfect recipe when you are craving for a restaurant style Paneer curry. Moreover this paneer recipe has no tomato or garlic.

Full of flavour and taste, you can also make this Paneer gravy when you have guests coming home for lunch or dinner along with your meal. It involves quick and simple preparation and takes less than 20 minutes to prepare from scratch .

I have ditched the tomatoes and instead used onions as the base of the gravy. This paneer recipe is made with clean simple spices . The richness for this gravy comes with cashews and yogurt. To add more richness in the gravy, I have added 2 tbsp of cream.

Preparation Time:- 5 minutes
Cooking time:- 15-20 minutes

Ingredients:-
1 medium chopped/ grated onion
1 cup whisked yogurt
6-7 cashews paste( soak in milk for 5-10 minutes and grind to fine paste)
2 tbsp Cream

Powder masala:-
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tbsp Coriander powder
1 tbsp MDH chicken masala
1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder

Whole garam masala:-
2 Tej pata
4-5 Cloves
2 small cardamom
1 big cardamom
4-5 black pepper corns
1 inch cinnamon stick
1 whole dry red chilli

1tbsp Grated ginger
1 tsp Sugar
