Colonel B Santosh Babu, the Commanding Officer (CO) of the 16 Bihar regiment, was one among the soldiers killed in the standoff with Chinese troops in Ladakh's Galwan Valley region. The Army officer was a native of Suryapet district in Telangana. He is survived by a wife and two children
