This is a heartwarming moment hungry monkeys suffering because of the coronavirus restrictions were given fruit by kind locals.
The primates are normally fed by tourists but they have been staying away due to a a travel ban to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Concerned residents gave sacks full of mangoes and rambutan to the primates in Songkhla, southern Thailand, this morning (June 11).
One of the generous locals said feeding the monkeys is also helping struggling fruit vendors.
She said: "Not only have the monkeys faced a hard time in the past few months, but the fruit seller have as well.
''Buying their fruit to feed the monkeys means supporting them as well, so I think there are only the benefits doing this."
Thailand has been slowly easing its coronavirus lockdown measures, with no locally transmitted cases for more than two weeks. However, a ban on non-residents entering the country remains in place while Thai nationals returning on repatriation flights must stay in state-monitored quarantine facilities for 14 days.
