An injured and abused puppy was found cowering under a car in Zarqa, central Jordan where it was then rescued and taken to a shelter.
Ahmad Abu Murra, who has been saving animal's from the streets, managed to tempt the dog out from under the car with some food. After doing do so Murra then drove the pup to an animal medical centre in Amman, the country's capital, for treatment.
After several tests were run on the dog named Schumer, after the neighbourhood she was found in, they found she was suffering from worms, fungi, anaemia, severe depression and anxiety.
Vet Zone Medical Center gave Schumer the necessary vaccines and hosted her at their own expense before managing to find an adopter for her at a beautiful rural farm.
