Ecuadorians took to streets across the country on Monday (June 8) to protest against the government's handling of the coronavirus crisis.
The protesters also demonstrated against the devastating effect the coronavirus crisis had on the country's economy.
Footage filmed the capital Quito shows thousands attempting to march to the presidential palace before being stopped by police.
