Corona Tracer BD is an initiative by the ICT Division and DGHS with the objective of bringing the people of Bangladesh together in the combined fight against COVID-19. The technology is powered by Shohoz Ltd.
This app utilizes Bluetooth signal to understand if you are near another Tracer app user. It will help you in identifying whether you are at risk of COVID-19 infection, by checking if you have been in recent contact with an infected individual. If your case seems risky, you will be able to seek medical help at the earliest and go into self-isolation.
It also has the following features:
- Information on various topics such as symptoms, what to do in case of suspected infection, etc.
- Locating nearby health and testing units.
- In case of a suspected infection, the citizen can check if the symptoms are compatible with COVID-19's, and if so, they will be instructed and sent to the nearest basic health unit.

আপনি অন্য ট্রেসার অ্যাপ ব্যবহারকারীর কাছাকাছি থাকলে বুঝতে এই অ্যাপ্লিকেশনটি ব্লুটুথ সিগন্যালটি ব্যবহার করে। আপনি কোনও সংক্রামিত ব্যক্তির সাথে সাম্প্রতিক যোগাযোগ করছেন কিনা তা খতিয়ে দেখে আপনি COVID-19 সংক্রমণের ঝুঁকিতে রয়েছেন কিনা তা সনাক্ত করতে আপনাকে সহায়তা করবে। যদি আপনার মামলাটি ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ বলে মনে হয় তবে আপনি প্রাথমিক পর্যায়ে চিকিত্সা সহায়তা নিতে এবং স্ব-বিচ্ছিন্নতায় যেতে সক্ষম হবেন।
এটিতে নিম্নলিখিত বৈশিষ্ট্যগুলিও রয়েছে:
- বিভিন্ন বিষয়ে যেমন লক্ষণগুলি, সন্দেহযুক্ত সংক্রমণের ক্ষেত্রে কী করা উচিত ইত্যাদি সম্পর্কিত তথ্য
- কাছাকাছি স্বাস্থ্য এবং পরীক্ষার ইউনিট সনাক্ত করা।
- সন্দেহযুক্ত সংক্রমণের ক্ষেত্রে নাগরিকরা লক্ষণগুলি সিওভিড -১৯ এর সাথে সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ কিনা তা পরীক্ষা করতে পারবেন এবং যদি তা হয় তবে তাদের নির্দেশ দেওয়া হবে এবং নিকটস্থ বেসিক স্বাস্থ্য ইউনিটে প্রেরণ করা হবে।
