A few days ago, Khiladi Akshay Kumar made news after he announced Rs 25 crore donation towards PM Cares Fund to help India fight Coronavirus. And now, actor Shatrughan Sinha has taken a dig at Akshay Kumar for his contribution. In a recent interview, he said that announcing the charity is a Vulgar act. He said that it is offensive and demoralizing to hear someone has contributed Rs 25 crore and that one will be judged by its volume of concern for the current situation by the amount of money. He further added that in no part of the world, celebrities flaunt the amount they give for charity and that charitable causes are meant to be a private affair. Sinha added that showbiz will now be called ‘Show-off biz’. He further went on to appreciate PM Modi’s decision of lockdown but also complained that the decision was taken too late. Several Bollywood celebs like Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Saif Ali Khan, Kartik Aaryan amongst others have come forward to donate money for the cause.
