A three-year-old girl had to be rescued after getting her fingers stuck in a plastic laundry basket.
Nong Nicha was playing with the item at her grandmother's home in Chonburi, eastern Thailand on Thursday morning (May 28).
She put two fingers through the plastic holes and it became stuck, swelling more at the toddler panicked.
Paramedics arrived and found the girl crying with fear. They patiently started by using pliers and cutters to widen the surrounding plastic holes.
While the girl was crying and looking away because she was so scared, the carefully tore through the plastic.
Nicha stopped crying instantly as soon as she realised that the plastic that had bonded her finger was gone.
The girl's grandmother, Nai, said that the accident had happened because of the child's curiosity.
She said: "She's now at the age where everything is interesting and she wants to touch things.
''She put her fingers through the hole but they were stuck and we could not pull them out by ourselves so we called the rescue team."
