One year ago on this May 29th, cruise boat, the Hableany, capsized on the flooded Danube River killing 26 Koreans and two Hungarian crew members on board.
One year later, along the river banks in Budapest are tributes left by people who still remember the day.
With one person still unaccounted for, an official memorial ceremony is planned today on the one year anniversary of the tragic incident.
Joining us live from Budapest is Zoltan Shiposhegyi, correspondent for Euronews.
Zoltan, there's a commemoration ceremony taking place in Budapest today.
Tell us what the mood is like there on the ground.
The bodies were retrieved except one victim who remains missing. Has the search continued?
The captain of the capsized ship went on trial in March. What has happened since then?
You spoke with us last year from this very spot when desperate search for the victims was underway. How has this tragedy impacted the Hungarian society?
Zoltan Shiposhegyi live for us from Budapest... along the Danube the very spot where the Hableany capsized one year ago today taking down with it 28 precious lives.
Thank you, Zoltan.
