교육부 "감염 확산 지역 학교 등교인원 3분의 2 넘지 않게 권고"

We begin with stronger measures from the education ministry to ensure safety in schools,... with more students set to go back to the classroom in the coming week.
South Korea's education minister said Sunday... that the government will strongly recommend schools in regions with a high risk of infection to disperse their students and reduce classroom density.
Here's the minister this afternoon.
"The government will strongly advise schools in regions with a high risk of COVID-19 infection... to keep the number of students below two-thirds of the total."
As for other measures, she said her ministry will check in with local offices of education to make sure they're prepared to hold classes on a flexible schedule.
Even when more kids are back in school, she said, the government will continue to offer childcare services for working parents.
The students returning to class this Wednesday will be second-year high schoolers, third-year middle schoolers, kids in the first and second years of elementary school... and kindergarteners.
That's about 2-point-4 million students,... which is around six times the number of high school seniors who went back to school last Wednesday.
Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun also stressed on Sunday that the country needs to set a global example in handling its' schools reopening.
