Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Robert Redfield may be thinking about dusting off his resume.
According to Gizmodo, sources say Redfield feels he's on thin ice at the White House.
Sunday, White House trade adviser Peter Navarro publicly blasted the CDC.
Shaming the CDC for its inability to produce an accurate test for the novel coronavirus COVID-19, Navarro said it “let the country down.”
White House coronavirus task force coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx has also expressed her frustration with the agency.
And in a Tuesday meeting with GOP senators, President Donald Trump also blasted the CDC. However, he did not mention Redfield by name.
