A federal appeals court ruled the White House and Trump’s Mar-a-Lago can keep visitor logs a secret. In April 2017, President Donald Trump reversed an Obama policy of releasing visit records. According to Business Insider, government advocates sued the Trump administration to reopen them. Trump argued sharing the records would prevent him from getting “unfettered, candid counsel.” Trump’s logs will also now remain sealed until at least five years after he leaves office.
