Google on Monday dedicated a doodle to 'Father of Indian Cinema'- Dadasaheb Phalke on his 148th birth anniversary. Considered as one of the pioneers of the Hindi film industry, Phalke was born on April 30, 1870 in Trimbak. The celebrated filmmaker started his journey in the industry with Raja Harishchandra, which is recognised as India's first full-length feature film. News Nation pays a small tribute to the Setubandhan director, who gave a new dimension to Indian cinema, by going down the memory lane and looking at his work.
