Venkaiah Naidu, after being elected as the next Vice President of India, addressed a press conference from his home:
-Humbled by honor bestowed on me: Naidu
-As chairman of Rajya Sabha I will uphold dignity and decorum of the house with cooperation of all members: Naidu
-Particularly over whelmed as the honor has been conferred on a common man like me with a background of agriculture: Naidu
