Tried out using an underhand grip today and it felt good!! May do that more often. I show a couple of the first sets from the back so you can see what's going on as I get the bar to my shoulders. Once I turn the hands over and start hopping the bar up the back, I'm NOT gripping the bar at all. The bar is completely on my back. The bar is between the thumb and index fingers with the palms facing the plates as they help guide the bar up the back. I don't grip the bar again until its up to the shoulders. Hope this helps!!
