"Article 370 and 35A had become a problem in Jammu and Kashmir. For 70 years nobody wanted to touch them. After the country once again chose Narendra Modi as PM in 2019, he repealed the two Articles and fulfilled Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s half-realised dream for the merger of Jammu and Kashmir into the Indian Union," Shah said while addressing an event to mark flagging off of 'Run for Unity' on the occasion of Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary.
