Most parts of Bihar's capital Patna remained submerged after being pounded by heavy rain over the weekend. A let up in rainfall allowed Bihar deputy chief minister Sushil Modi and his family to be rescued on Monday, three days after being stuck at their home in Patna. Sushil Modi and his family were stuck at their Rajendra Nagar residence due to water-logging. They were taken out of the place by personnel of the National Disaster Response Force.
