러시아 코로나19 신규 확진 이틀 연속 1만명 넘어
In some countries the coronavirus pandemic is only getting worse.
Russia has seen more than 10-thousand cases for two days in a row now... as the total number of cases there approaches 150-thousand.
The country last week extended its period of isolation until May 11th, with President Putin saying the worst is yet to come.
In the United States, the New York Times says it's obtained an internal projection from the White House saying that there could be 3-thousand coronavirus deaths per day by the first of June.
Right now the U.S. has about 1-point-1 million cases... as some states start to reopen their economies.
And in Europe, Spain and Italy, two of the hardest hit countries,... are reopening quickly now.
Those two have seen the number of deaths fall to 160 or 170 a day, the lowest since early to mid-March.
In Britain, officials say the outbreak has peaked.
