California To Reopen Some Businesses... With Some Stipulations

2020-05-04 2

California Governor Gavin Newsom said on Monday that some retail businesses are going to open.
California as a whole says they may begin reopening as early as this week.
The decisions hinge on whether data shows that the coronavirus pandemic is not worsening.
This also must coincide with testing continuing to ramp up, reports Reuters.
The governor said offices and shopping malls will remain closed, along with seating in restaurants.
California has recorded at least 2,215 deaths from COVID-19 and nearly 55,000 known cases.
