The Nippon Foundation's gym in Tokyo is set to accomodate COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms from mid-May. A tented hospital on the same site, slated for opening at the end of May, and pre-fabricated units with space for 140 more beds, set to open in late June -- will help increase Tokyo capacity to further handle the pandemic.
