합참 "아군 GP에 북한 총탄 피탄•대응사격…피해 없어
South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff says several bullets were fired this morning from the North Korean side of the DMZ toward a guard post in the South.
The JCS says the bullets were fired at 7:41 AM... after which South Korean forces followed standard procedure by broadcasting a warning and firing back twice.
There has been no damage reported.
The JCS said the South Korean military working to prevent such incidents from happening again by using the military communication line with the North and maintaining a readiness posture.
