The Isabella Geriatric Center is a nursing home in Manhattan, and has been hit hard by the novel coronavirus COVID-19.
According to Business Insider, the facility listed an official tally of 13 deaths as of Friday.
But now, it has had to use a refrigerator truck to temporarily store bodies after it recorded 98 deaths in a "horrifying" outbreak.
A spokesperson for the care home has said that it has been struggling with staff shortages and a lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees.
The spokesman added the facility has since had "more access to testing."
It's an inestimable loss, and it's just impossible to imagine so many people lost in one place. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio
