India recorded the largest single-day jump of 1,993 new Coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the total to 35,043 cases. The death toll from COVID-19 zoomed to 73 on Thursday, the highest reported so far in a single day. The deadly novel Coronavirus claimed 1,147 lives in India.
