The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention added six new symptoms to its list for the novel coronavirus COVID-19 last week.
They include chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat and loss of taste or smell.
But according to UPI, new research released Thursday says there may be even more symptoms that present with the dangerous disease.
Irish researchers observed that patients hospitalized with severe COVID-19 infections are experiencing abnormal blood clotting.
They reported that in some cases, the clotting played a role in the death of these patients.
A small study in Italy also found that some 20% of COVID-19 patients develop skin rashes or lesions.
