This is the terrifying moment a teenage motorcyclist slammed into the ground in a flash of sparks - forcing a driver to swerve to avoid running him over.
The 15-year-old boy tried to overtake a 4x4 at speed but lost control of his bike in Loei province, northeastern Thailand on April 22nd evening.
Dashcam footage shows how he wobbled dangerously from side to side before falling onto the tarmac and skidding along the ground as sparks from the impact of the metal flew into the air.
The driver travelling behind the crash had lightning-fast reactions to swerve to the left onto a grass verge and avoid running over the boy.
Despite not wearing a helmet or protective clothing, the youngster was able to climb to his feet after the crash and walk away virtually unharmed.
Motorist Puifai Thanchanok said he was driving to the market with friends when the captured the incident on his onboard camera.
Fortunately, he was able to swerve away from the boy before stopping the car on the verge to take a look at the accident and help the injured rider.
Puifai said: "I tried all my best not to hit the boy, so I feel relieved no one was seriously injured from the accident."
