A small group, holding candles and signs, take part in a vigil outside Queensboro Correctional Facility in Long Island City, New York, after an inmate died as a result of the novel coronavirus. The inmate is believed to be Leonard Carter. Those attending the vigil held signs calling on Governor Andrew Cuomo to release more offenders from prisons across the state in an effort to stem the spread of the virus.
