Dermatologist Sandra Lee, better known as Dr. Pimple Popper has fans tuned in to youtube for a new kind of video.
In the video, Dr. Lee discusses the early, potential skin symptoms associated with COVID-19.
Anecdotal reports and some research has led some doctors to believe that COVID-19 may affect the skin.
"It's common to get a rash from a viral illness," Lee explained to Allure.
Doctors say various types of rashes could be associated with the virus, from hives to bumps similar to chickenpox.
Doctors caution that more research is needed to determine a correlation between COVID-19 and rashes.
