In a major development, a UK High Court on Monday rejected the application of embattled liquor tycoon Vijay Mallya against the extradition order. Mallya, who is facing charges of money laundering, fraud, and violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), has now the option to appeal to the Supreme Court.
