The NY Times conducted in interviews with two dozen Sanders primary voters across the country this week.
The interviews found a nearly universal lack of enthusiasm for Biden.
Some Sanders supporters called Biden a less formidable candidate than Hillary Clinton was in 2016.
Many were skeptical of his ability to beat Trump. Others were quick to critique Biden’s sometimes incoherent speech.
The survey raises doubt about how many Sanders supporters would vote for Biden in November.
In a poll last month, 15% of Sanders supporters said they would cross over to Trump, about the same % that did so in 2016.
