On Republic Day, Sarmila Yadav, wife of jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav from BSF’s 29th Battalion who had complained of food and facilities given to jawans, posted an audio clip of a telephone conversation she had with her husband. He was depressed, she says, because on the Republic Day he was not allowed to move out of the barracks.
