The Jaffrabad Metro station was closed and a large contingent of Delhi Police personnel was deployed due to a protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC). The protest began Saturday night when around 500 people, mostly women, gathered near the Jaffrabad metro station in northeast Delhi.
