Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the government will take stringent action against the officials responsible for the negligence in the foot overbridge collapse in Mumbai.
Mumbai Police registered a case under IPC 304-A against officials of Railways and BMC in overbridge collapse in which five persons were killed and 31 injured. Earlier, a section of a foot overbridge near a busy train station in south Mumbai collapsed during evening rush hour on Thursday.
