The Department of Health (DOH) reported on April 17, Friday, 218 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), as well as 25 new deaths among COVID-19 patients.
In its latest case bulletin, the DOH said that the country now has 5,878 confirmed cases, while the number of fatalities has risen to 387. The number of people recovering from the disease continues to 487.
