정부, 1천478만 가구에 코로나 '긴급재난지원금' 지급
The South Korean government has pledged an additional supplementary budget worth more than five billion U.S. dollars to counter the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Finance Minister Hong Nam-ki said during a meeting Thursday,... that Seoul will soon provide a maximum of 800 U.S. dollars to families of four or more members in the lowest 70 percent income bracket..
The additional budget will lift the economic burden on nearly 15-million households.
This is on top of an almost ten billion dollar extra budget executed in mid-March.
If approved, the extra budget will be the fifth under the Moon administration,... following ones to stimulate job creation and tackle fine dust pollution.
