A kitten was rescued after being blocked into a concrete wall as builders were working on a new house.
The hapless moggy was heard crying from inside the newly built property in Rayong, eastern Thailand on Tuesday evening (April 7).
Workers had poured fresh cement into a mould without realising the cat was inside the hollow between the two walls.
Luckily, a kind-hearted resident named Charin Nabumrung heard the cat crying for help behind the cement wall when he was checking the construction site.
Charin said: "I heard the cat screaming loudly behind the wall. I rushed to help him out. He will now be named Lord Chong. I do not know where he came from, but I will take care of him."
Footage shows Charin breaking the thick concrete wall to take the kitten out. He spent almost five minutes to rescue the crying feline.
The lucky animal is believed to have been born a litter of several kittens before being separated from him family.
Charin added: ''I'm sure that the cat would have starved if I had not found him. So the first thing I did was give him a drink and some food.''
