Coronavirus: Japan to declare state of emergency over Covid-19 pandemic

Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said the country would declare a state of emergency on April 7, 2020 in a bit to stop the coronavirus. The declaration, expected to last for a month, will apply in Tokyo and six other prefectures.
