Tea is a daily affair in most of our house holds. Ginger in tea is widely used in North and West regions of India, this also works as a good digestive and also as immunity booster drink. Along with Ginger Tea I have also prepared Ginger Lemon Tea for anyone who does not want to use milk into their tea.
Ingredients:
Ginger Tea
Ginger - 1 medium Size
Cardamom - 2 (optional)
Water -1/2 cup
Tea powder -1 tbsp
Milk - 1/2 cup
Palm Jaggery - 2 tbsp . You can use Jaggery or Sugar.
Ginger Lemon Tea
Ginger - 1 medium size
Tea powder - 1 tsp
Lemon - 1/2 lemon juice
Sugar - 1- 2 tbsp.
If you want to use Honey ensure you use it just when you want to drink. Don't use it when the tea is boiling. This is to ensure we get the best nutrients of Honey.
