Beyond the basic government-sponsored ration, residents living under an enhanced movement control order (MCO) are allowed to order other household items through a centre set-up within their area.
Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the centre, which will also monitor movements in the area, will be in charge of distributing their orders.
"Whatever they need, they can order through the centre. For example, to purchase baby diapers.
"We do not distribute baby diapers to all households because we do not know whether it is needed," said Ismail, who is also coordinating senior minister for the security cluster.
