Four singles and a double with 143.5lb on Full Supination Curl & Press. Using an old no-name brand power bar that is 32mm/1.25" thick. Plates are LOU FERRIGNO 50lbers. The thicker the bar, the more the hand is opened up. Putting thumbs same side as fingers forces the hand into full supination. Using a thicker bar with thumbs on the same side makes Curls (and the following Presses) more interesting. This is very good work for opening up the lower Biceps. It also "locks out" the Brachioradialis. It's amazing how much this muscles tries to take over when the thumb is wrapped around the bar for Curls. I could make the supination even greater by using the same grip while placing my hands wider than my shoulders while keeping the elbows locked into my sides. You may be thinking, "c'mon! Can all this make THAT MUCH of a difference??" I can only recommend to try it an see...Yes, the Press looks AND feels weird but, if you've already Curled it up there, why not get in some Press work as well...right?? Good Luck God & Bless!!
