Suraj sets out to prove Natasha’s innocence. His behaviour towards a murder suspect was grabbing eyeballs from all corners, especially Sapna’s. Rishabh Mehta’s murder case goes to trial and Natasha is presented in the witness box as a suspect. The doctor, however, rules out the possibility by stating that she was injected with a drug before the murder. And she couldn’t have possibly killed her beau because the effect of the drug administered lasts upto seven to eight hours. Natasha’s lawyer makes a strong argument and she is released. Sapna confronts Suraj that she knows it was him who prepared the doctor to give the testimony in the court. Suraj, at night, visits Natasha. They both raise a toast and celebrate her innocence in the case proven in the court earlier in the day. Next moment, Natasha kisses Suraj. They both lock lips passionately. Tambe, Suraj’s subordinate, finds out that Natasha’s uncle was involved in a criminal case about a decade ago. He interrogates the officer who had then investigated the case and he confirms their finding. He reveals that Natasha’s uncle was accused of being involved in an underage girl working as an escort disappearing. However, due to lack of evidence, he was released. Suraj is getting attracted to Natasha with every passing moment. He cannot take his eyes off her at all. He asks Natasha about her uncle Dr. Sharma being a part of a case, and enquires if she knows about it. She recalls an incident in her mind and feels breathless. Natasha starts gasping for breath and gets a panic attack. She asks Suraj to take her out of the room and get her some fresh air. Later, she reveals that her uncle Sharma took her in after her parents died when she was young. But he’d molest her. Suraj promises to punish Dr. Sharma and protect Natasha.
