As of this afternoon, the number of Covid-19 cases in the country climbed to 1,796.
Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin revealed that 172 new cases were recorded today and warned that the worst is yet to come.
He also said two additional deaths were reported, bringing the death toll to 17.
