Black Friday : Trading Halted At Indian Stock Market, Worst Day Since 1987

Investors woke up to a Black Friday as equity indices crashed by nearly 10 per cent with coronavirus panic selling globally hitting almost every asset class. Sensex reopens after 45 minutes halt due to lower circuit; plunges 3518.49 points, at 29206.20 currently. All sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were floating in red with Nifty IT down by 13.15 per cent, PSU bank by 12.96 per cent, metal by 11.83 per cent and auto by 11.38 per cent.The Indian market is facing one of the worst market crashes in the recent times. The Sensex plunged 3090.62 points, at 29,687.52 on March 13. Nifty also tanked 966.10 points. Trading in NIFTY and BSE Sensex stopped due to lower circuit. The market fell over 10 percent in the initial trade. Indian Rupee slipped to 74.43 versus the US Dollar, in initial trade. Market has been witnessing steep decline after WHO declared Novel Coronavirus outbreak a pandemic.

భారత మార్కెట్లు నష్టాల నుండి కోలుకోవడం లేదు. గురువారం 1700 నష్టాలతో ప్రారంభమైన సెన్సెక్స్ ఆ తర్వాత దాదాపు 3,000 నష్టాలతో ముగిసింది. శుక్రవారం అంతకుమించిన నష్టాలతో ప్రారంభమైంది. ఏకంగా ప్రారంభంలోనే 3,000 పాయింట్లు నష్టపోయింది. నిఫ్టీ 966 పాయింట్ల నష్టానికి రావడంతో లోయర్ సర్క్యూట్‌ను టచ్ అయింది.
